DESCRIPTION
Located 2 ½ kilometers from Panzano in Chianti, in the heart of famous Chianti Classico country, it is ideally positioned for guests wishing to visit places of historical, artistic and eno-gastronomic importance.
Traveling along the Chiantigiana road one arrives at this tranquil medieval hamlet, with its tiny streets and ancient artisan workshops, where one can acquire traditional local products ranging from prized meats to fine leather products. Just a few kilometers from the villa one can also visit the Church of San Leolino, in Pieve di Panzano. Originally founded in the 10th century, it was later rebuilt in Romanesque style in the 14th century.
Villa Crespine, of stone construction, is circled by a garden filled with flowers and creeping vines, and enjoys a beautiful view of the nearby hills covered with vineyards, olive groves and woods.
The villa's structure follows the sinuous contours of the sloping terrain, being laid out on various terraced levels, a scheme typical of ancient Tuscan homes. On one of these levels lies the large and lovely swimming pool, from which one can admire the spectacular landscape while appreciating a vacation atmosphere never to be forgotten. An adjacent patio provides the perfect area for relaxing and cooling off on summer days.
