DESCRIPTION
Villa Contessa Marianna (500mq) is part of a group of buildings and sits on the "Bonaparte knoll". Its name is due to the fact that wasan ancient property of the Bonaparte's family in San Miniato. The most famous family member being Napoleone Bonaparte. In 1701 Maria Maddalena Bonaparte received the villa as part of a dowry for her marriage in this year to the nobleman Bonaccorsi. In 1805 the country-house was given to the family of the present owners, it still maintains the historical documentation and much of the furniture of that time.
Today the property has been completely restored and is an exclusive residence for those looking for an historical and relaxing holiday. The villa offers an opportunity to appreciate the charm and beauty of one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. Villa Contessa Marianna was recently sensitively restored. Plunged into the wonderful Tuscan landscape, the country-house is scattered on a "knoll" at the foot of the San Miniato's hill. San Miniato is a historical village full of monuments and cultural activities, and famous for the production of the white truffle.
The two floors of the villa are joined by a grand central staircase. The large and elegant rooms make the atmosphere ideal for a comfortable, spacious and relaxing holiday. Within the grounds of the villa there is a large garden which slopes down to the swimming pool which offers the opportunity to completely appreciate the charm and beauty of the Tuscan landscape.
The wonderful garden and swimming pool (14m x 7m) area offer an atmosphere rich for relaxing and appreciating the evocative natural scenery. Ancient trees and green meadows create the ambiance rich colours and shadows with quiet, secluded places to relax and enjoy: the ideal place to relax and rest the body and mind.

On the ground floor you can find two wonderful big rooms divided by a large central passage, on the right hand of the passage there is a large kitchen communicating with the dining room, and the saloon furnished with period furniture.

On the first floor the house has six large bedrooms (4 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms and it is possible to add a single bed in one of them), which join charm and sobriety of the details together with the functionality. The house is completely furnished with period furniture, rooms are air-conditioned and include a TV. All bedrooms have private services (shower) and windows screens. One of them has facilities for handicapped people.
