DESCRIPTION
The villa is in a wonderful position within the National Park of the Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO heritage site since 2004, a few km from Montalcino and San Quirico d’Orcia. The nearest shops, supermarket and restaurants are in a little village that you can reach in five minutes by car.
The spacious court yard has plenty of tables and chairs at guests disposal including a shaded area with a pergola for outdoor al fresco meals. Guests can use also a brick barbecue. A beautifully maintained fenced garden with mature trees surrounds the house, ensuring complete privacy. From the patio few stone steps lead to the swimming-pool area where you can find another garden fruit trees and a beautiful wooden gazebo with table and chairs. The salt-water swimming-pool measures 12m x 6m and has a depth of 1 m up to 2,4 m. In the deep end of the swimming-pool there is a diving board.
The interiors throughout are wonderfully appointed with modern and traditional Tuscan furniture pieces in keeping with the original terracotta floors and beamed ceilings.

Ground floor
From the court yard there is access to the main entrance. Once you reach the hall, a brick archway on the right hand side of the entrance leads into a huge lounge/dining-room with several sitting areas, a fireplace and a large dining-table where groups of families or friends can enjoy meals together. Just ahead of the hall there is the ground-floor kitchen (second kitchen), while the main kitchen is on the first floor. On the left hand side of the entrance there is a staircase to the first floor and the games room (withbilliards and table football) and one bathroom with shower.
First floor
The floor is terracotta tiles. From the hall of the groud floor, climbing a staircase with stone steps, you can reach the first floor, which can also be reached by external staircases that lead directly from the courtyard. From the spacious, well equipped kitchen with a dining room and another fireplace, you have direct access to two of the bedrooms, while through a corridor on the right hand side you can reach the other bedrooms. The villa has seven bedrooms in total, (six double and one twin). One of the bedrooms has a door leading out to a large paved terrace overlooking the garden and pool.
The floor of the first floor is in old terracotta tiles, the ceiling in chestnut beams and bricks, of which have been restored authentically.
