Set in the charming landscape of rolling hills, Villa Valecchio offers its guests a unique opportunity to enjoy the magic and unforgettable spirit of the Tuscan countryside. The villa is situated near the main farm residence, in the centre of the 10-hectare farm estate.

Dating back to the 15th century, the properties have been carefully restored in order to maintain their original rustic characteristics. The garden, which is perfectly maintained and stocked with mature plants, climbers and colourful flower vases, is ideal for those quiet strolls where you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity this heaven offers.

A large 14x7 mt. swimming pool, equipped with parasols and deckchairs, offers the opportunity to spend pleasant cool moments away from the summer heat while enjoying the breath-taking view of the valley below.

The front part of the villa, which is divided into two parts a short distance from each other, features a terrace with a beautiful manicured lawn and a large gazebo with table and chairs where you can dine in comfort, share a hearty barbecue with friends, or just enjoy the relaxation and the silence of the valley. To the side of the villa there is another beautiful gazebo with table and chairs, ideal for breakfast or simply sitting and admiring the view.

The farm is also situated on the Italian Alpine Club's marked trekking circuit, offering the possibility of interesting walks in the countryside. Villa guests can savour delicious Tuscan specialities personally prepared by Maria, the owner, with fresh and genuine ingredients from the vegetable garden, and the superb extra-virgin olive oil produced on the farm. Next to the villa is the owner's residence who will be happy to help you and available for any need.

The spectacular city of Florence is only 30 kms from the farm whilst other cities of art and culture such as Siena, S. Gimignano and Lucca, can be reached with ease. A large number of events and performances aiming at promoting the local area and its products are organized during the year in the surrounding towns, some of which of have medieval origins, such as Vicchio, Scarperia and Borgo S. Lorenzo.
Villa Valecchio is a private residence consisting of 2 separate buildings. The two buildings are co-located, with only a few steps dividing them. They can comfortably accommodate two separate families, families with older children or two groups of friends, while allowing them to enjoy their privacy and space without compromising the opportunity to spend time together.

The larger residence includes a spacious open plan area with kitchen, large table and living area with TV and sofas. Generous picture windows provide a wonderful view of the countryside, lighting up the interior and really bringing out the fine details that make this villa so special. A charming wooden staircase leads to the first floor where there are two rooms; the first is the master bedroom with a picture window overlooking the garden and the second is a twin with two single beds. The bathroom is comfortable and simple.

The décor has been chosen with care and taste. The soft furnishings are rich and the furniture is antique and functional. The main entrance opens onto a large covered loggia furnished with table and chairs. The smaller wing consists of a large double bedroom with wardrobe area, an easy room, a kitchenette and a new bathroom with a large shower area. There is also a small terrace area. Both parts of the property have retained their original typical Tuscan characteristics: stone walls, wooden beams and terracotta floors.
